There is no end to the funny things that come out of children's mouths. Alex, my three and a half year old is no exception. I thought I would share some funny things he has said the past few weeks.
If I had my way, I’d eat guacamole every day. With a big bag of salty, lime-drizzled chips. While laying on a beach with a tropical drink next to me. It’s certainly one of the better dips, with creamy, flesh avocados taking the lead. A simple, flavorful guac doesn’t need much: just a quick drizzle of lime, some red onion and a little cilantro are more than enough.
In my 5+ years working as a personal shopper and stylist, I can confidently say that 85% of people are wearing their clothing the wrong size (or in the wrong cut) and 98% of those people are wearing their clothing too big (or cut too full). While a personal stylist and shopper (or a talented and trusted sales associate that truly has your best interest in mind vs. the interest of the store or brand that they work for) is perhaps the best person to help you evaluate your choice of size and cut, your husband or boyfriend may also be able to help.

My worst nightmare came true. My son had a major - MAJOR - meltdown in the grocery store the other day.
My husband and I have an agreement that I only take one child to the grocery store. It's not so much an agreement as it is a fact that if he wants any type of food in the house, I'm only carting one kid along. It's usually Alex. He thinks of the grocery store as an adventure - plus I can still strap him in to the cart! That's a win / win right there. He's usually good at the store. He talks with people and is generally upeat but for some reason on this trip he was some type of demon child.
You could go to the store and grab a sorbet or ice cream filled with processed and weird ingredients you can't pronounce. Or you could grab some strawberries, a touch of sugar and a lemon or two and blend up your own sorbet at home.
