As a stylist, it’s my job to constantly be on the lookout for new resources for my clients in order to best serve their wardrobing needs. This includes building relationships with other style professionals such as hairstylists and makeup artists, test-driving cobblers and tailors in different areas and, of course, investigating new brands and designers and seeking out new boutiques and local vendors.
This weekend we were at a family reunion in NY. My mother-in-law had bought Alex a nice plaid Ralph Lauren button down to wear. It was torture getting him to put it on. His argument was that it did not have any letters and numbers on it. He flat out refused to wear it. I told him there were letters but they were hidden. An "H" in the yellow lines. An "L" in the green. He looked like he might be convinced.
