Let’s be honest: shopping can be a lot of work. In fact, a day spent in changing rooms can be exhausting. That’s why women love shopping on the web so much. It’s just easier.
However, there are certain items that we ladies find we must try on – for example, shoes. I cannot imagine buying a pair of winter boots without trying them on my hard-to-fit feet first. Yes, I know that returns are a no-brainer – I just don’t care to shop that way. Not yet, at least.

Let's be honest about eating well for a second. Sometimes, you just really, really crave a hunk of cookie dough, no matter how much self-control you may have. And that's ok because with just a few healthy ingredients, you can have a taste of cookie dough. Bonus - no raw eggs.

Whenever Labor Day comes, it is always the official sign that summer is nearly over, the days are getting shorter and the school days are beginning once again.Â
There also used to be a rule, yes, used to be, that white should not be worn after Labor Day. Well, it is time to break that rule. Here are some tips on how to wear white with style and confidence, especially when leveraging some of Adea's assortment of white camisoles:
Adea's Lace V Neck Camisole is a must-have, especially when you are looking to add that extra something to help dress up an outfit.
Try the white Lace V Neck Camisole under a black sweater with a pair of jeans and heels for a night out. You cannot ever go wrong with black and white, no matter the time of year.
If you want to add some color, you can always swap black out for a red or even a blue color, as both colors will be great for this fall season and will be set off beautifully with the white lace camisole underneath.
Adea's Scoop Neck & Back Camisole and Spaghetti Strap Camisole are a must-have layering piece as they provide a silky-soft touch to the skin while adding that extra layer of warmth as the temperatures begin to dip.
Try the white Scoop Neck & Back Camisole and the Spaghetti Strap Camisole with a boatneck sweater or an off the shoulder dress. The Scoop Neck & Back Camisole is a great way to hide your bra straps to help your outfit looked pulled together and polished or you can wear a strapless bra with the Spaghetti Strap Camisole.
Adea's Reversible Camisoles are fantastic for wrap dresses or simply any item in your wardrobe with a plunging neckline.
Of course you can wear the Reversible Camisoles as a scoop neck, which doubles your options, but when you don it in its v neck form, it is a great addition under a wrap dress or shirt dress, which are still quite popular this upcoming fall season. Simply pair your dress of choice with tights and boots as the temperatures begin to fall, and you are set.
Overall, think of white as a way to help bring your outfit together as it pairs so well with any color in your wardrobe, including prints. With Adea offering numerous layering options, you are bound to find the style that fits your needs, even if it's a white camisole under a cardigan with jeans and heels or flats. Très chic!
Make white your new after-Labor Day staple and have fun with it.
Also, stay tuned for my next post where I'll help provide you with some ways to leverage Adea's tops in white post Labor Day.

Summer coming to an end calls for cocktails. And what better, really, than a good, old-fashioned hard lemonade? We amped up the volume a little, tossing in a generous spoonful of vanilla and a nice turn of rum. The result is a summery cocktail fit for just a little more poolside sipping.

It’s time to put the beach towels away and start thinking about back-to-school. The parents are rejoicing – the kids are whining (but secretly they’re happy to be seeing their schoolmates again).
As promised, we’re giving you a quick overview of what’s new at Adea and how you can prep for the fall season.

Ripe tomatoes are one of the best things about summer. And we've still got a little bit of time to enjoy them before the season ends and we are stuck in the depths of winter. This tomato cobbler with white cheddar biscuits has become a summer staple in our house, we can't get enough of it. Click below for recipe.

I’ve always believed that the “year” actually goes from one September to the next. Back-to-school and fall fashion forecasts are great. Who really cares about cold, gray January?
With this thought in mind, I started perusing the web, newspapers and magazines (I like to read the hard copy of a publication) to see what exciting fashion trends are in the works for Fall/Winter 2014.
I duly noted that fleecy shearling and cozy knits are in (always a natural for cooler weather) and that furs are back. Did they ever really go away? But then I hit a wall, because the incredible number of designers and their take on fashion totally overwhelmed me. Where were the nailed-down forecasts?

One of the beauties of summer, besides the long days of sunshine, is the sales that pop up at many of our favorite stores. While sales often sound quite exciting, and I’m the first one to say I love a great deal, what can often happen after a sale shopping spree is the dreaded buyer’s remorse.
Here are some questions to ask yourself that will hopefully help ensure you walk away with bargains you will love for seasons to come.
