Back in the day, the annual cleaning of one’s home in April/May was an accepted ritual. I’m not sure it still exists the way it once did. However, it’s still a good idea. An even better one is to tackle the cleaning of closets at the same time. If this is too overwhelming why not consider doing this project in June. You’ll still be ahead of the “official” start of summer.
I recently received a free copy of Reader’s Digest in the mail asking me if I’d like to subscribe to the magazine. Frankly I was taken aback by this and said to myself, “Is Reader’s Digest still around?” I haven’t seen this publication in years and it looked quite different to me.

In mid-February of this year, I received an invitation via email to Giulietta’s Fashion Week After Party in the Meatpacking District. This looked like a fun event to me.
But, who is Giulietta I wondered? I discovered that it’s the name of a company founded in 2011 by Italian designer, Sofia Sizzi, who named her company after Fellini’s classic movie, Giulietta of the Spirits.Â
