Color of the Moment - Cobalt Blue

March 23, 2018

Pantone shares their color every year, this year it happens to be - Pantone 18-3838 Ultra Violet. Once that color is announced, beauty to fashion brands take notice. They offer limited edition eye color to nail color to fashion accessories in that particular color.

Flash forward to this past New York Fashion Week. Of course there were collections showing for fall/winter 2018 with new trends popping up for the upcoming season, although, what I found most interesting was the street style. This was a glimpse into what people are wearing now.

As my last post we spoke about something that could come in a variety of colors - the kitten heel trend, let's get straight to the color I was seeing all of the streets of NYFW - cobalt blue. It was especially seen in accessories, although, it was also seen in clothing - such as jackets.

I may be a bit impartial, as I love blue, but this is quite exciting.

The tone matches so many skin tones and can be incorporated into day and night looks. You could even partner a pair of Adea leggings with a cobalt blue accessory or top or you could also pair an Adea camisole under a leather jacket - a great combination for spring.

As always, have fun with fashion and happy styling!

We’re entering a brand new year so I believe it’s time to tackle a subject I’ve been avoiding: Artificial Intelligence. Why have I been skirting around AI for so long? Full disclosure: No matter how much I read about it – I still don’t really grasp it.
