The beauty of accessories is their power to transform an outfit and help to personify your personality. Are you a fan of hoop earrings or more of diamond studs? Or, maybe you appreciate both, depending on how you are dressed? Well, for this post, I'm going to share some accessory tips with you to help you fine tune your current style or possibly offer some ideas to refresh your current selections.
Layer
What I love most about layering is that it simply works for everyone. For example, if you prefer thin bracelets or dainty necklaces, you can still layer multiples of each together. On the other hand, if you like larger or more statement pieces, you can still layer. In most cases, you can have multiple larger pieces together, just keep in mind balance - you may want to add in a few dainty pieces to balance out your overall look.
Mix & Match Metals
The rules of silver with silver and gold with gold are gone. You can now mix silver with gold and even add in some rose gold for good measure. This is a fun way to experiment with some new metals and a way to fold in some trendier pieces to your staples. For example, if you traditionally wear silver, why not add in a couple of layering pieces in gold that you could add in to your current mix? In this way, you add some variety to your routine while still keeping your key pieces in use.
Add a Watch
I'm a fan of large watches - envision the size of a man's watch, but for a woman. The reason I'm drawn to this style is this piece then becomes a statement all on its own. When you wear a larger watch, you don't need any other bracelets and you can even keep your rings to a minimum. On the other hand, if you still prefer a traditional woman's watch, try playing with the layers you add with it - try adding a wide cuff to your other wrist or a few layered pieces to even the same wrist.
As with anything, have fun with it. Take these tips and play with them and experiment with them. Also, take a look at different accessory brands, not only the mainstream and luxury brands but the small brands on the market too. As I started this post, accessories should also help to exemplify your personality. So, be sure to choose pieces that are a reflection of you and not necessarily just because they are the newest trend. When you stick to this thought, you'll certainly be rocking any of the accessories you choose to wear.
Happy styling!

P.S. As you decide which accessories you plan on wearing tomorrow, don't forget about Adea's Layering Tops. Although I'm partial to the scoop necks and v necks, there are necklines to fit any necklace combo you choose.

I just read an article that sounded – to me at least – like “a canary in a coal mine” or an early warning of danger. This piece, written by Joe Pompeo, appeared in the May 2020 issue of Vanity Fair magazine with the title “The British Tabloid Invasion” and a subtitle that read, “How the Daily Mail is conquering American gossip.”

Apparently the good old U.S. is a nation of “not great” sleepers. Really? And I thought I was the only one! According to a recent study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention it was revealed that one out of three Americans are chronically sleep-deprived. Yikes!

I think we’re all taken by the incredible mystique of the famous French fashion house, Hermès that has been with us for two centuries and is still owned and operated by the same family. From its beginnings in fine equestrian leather goods, they are – in the tumultuous year 2020 – best known for their handbags and many other items.
My image of Hermès has always been rarified products at equally rarified prices so imagine my surprise when I recently received a very stylish publication of theirs in the mail.
