A guy picking out a Christmas gift for the gal in his life is definitely a topic of interest. For starters, a major blunder is giving a loved one a vacuum cleaner or crockpot as a present. Another ticklish area is lingerie – male shoppers invariably miss on type, size and color. This is closely followed by perfume – which should be a no-brainer. Just find out what she wants -- then write it down.
In their defense, men say “they hate to shop” and that “their loved ones don’t come through when it comes to picking their gifts either”. Did we hear correctly? Yes. Here’s the other side.
At the top of the “no” list are man bags. Yikes! Gals also pick useless gadgets and clothes in the wrong style/color/size along with sentimental gifts such as framed photos.
Help is definitely needed here, so we’ve created a list of great fashions from Adea. Read on:
This sleek number comes in white, black and dark navy. It has a brief bottom with cotton lining secured by eye hook closures and is the perfect under-layer for an elegant, sophisticated look.
You can’t beat the choice of colors – eight in all: white, black, off-white, dark navy, Carnation pink, sky blue, lilac and chiffon. This nifty number won’t wrinkle so it’s a great idea for holiday travel.
We definitely love the concept behind this top. One can wear it either as a scoop neck in the back – with the V-neck in the front OR vice versa – because the straps work for both sides. Two for the price of one you might say. In white, black or off-white.
This is a fun item that can be either a gift or a stocking stuffer. It’s made from Italian stretch microfiber that gives the feeling of a second skin. Comes with a cotton lining in the crotch and is available in white or black.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a full- or half-slip these days? Take it from us, it’s a daunting chore. That’s why our lightweight full slip in black or nude with spaghetti straps will be much appreciated.
Definitely works as a stocking stuffer. An ultra-feminine brief in white, black, nude and espresso in a no-wrinkle Italian microfiber that gently hugs the body and feels like a second skin.
That’s it. We’ve given you seven great ideas (we’re counting two for our reversible camisole) for Christmas gifts.
Oh no, you’re still stuck. Never fear, we’ve got just the thing for you: an Adea e-gift card for $25, $50 or $100 that can be delivered right to your inbox.

I just read an article that sounded – to me at least – like “a canary in a coal mine” or an early warning of danger. This piece, written by Joe Pompeo, appeared in the May 2020 issue of Vanity Fair magazine with the title “The British Tabloid Invasion” and a subtitle that read, “How the Daily Mail is conquering American gossip.”

Apparently the good old U.S. is a nation of “not great” sleepers. Really? And I thought I was the only one! According to a recent study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention it was revealed that one out of three Americans are chronically sleep-deprived. Yikes!

I think we’re all taken by the incredible mystique of the famous French fashion house, Hermès that has been with us for two centuries and is still owned and operated by the same family. From its beginnings in fine equestrian leather goods, they are – in the tumultuous year 2020 – best known for their handbags and many other items.
My image of Hermès has always been rarified products at equally rarified prices so imagine my surprise when I recently received a very stylish publication of theirs in the mail.
