With fall comes layers

November 17, 2014

One of my hobbies is cycling. When I began to look at cycling as a sport, a tip shared with me was to always keep your core warm and let layers be your friend. That tip may seem basic, but it's one that transcends cycling and carries over into fashion.

Take, for example, a classic quilted puffer vest, which is great paired with Adea's Long Sleeve Scoop Neck or Mock Neck Layering Top. Have fun with this classic look by wearing it with a full skirt or skinny jeans and knee high boots.

Another great option is to begin with an Adea camisole and wear a 3/4 Sleeve Veck Neck or Long Sleep Scoop Neck Layering Top over it. This look offers versatility that can be worn to the office with a cardigan or sweater layered on for additional warmth or simply paired with culottes (that yes are making a comeback) and some heeled boots.

With temperatures not always that warm inside either, a way to stay warm is by wearing Adea's Long Sleeve Crew Neck Bodysuit underneath a wool blazer that can be paired with jeans or dress pants.

Since Adea's pieces are made with breathable and lightweight Italian fabric, they are suited quite well for layering, which is a relief this time of year when it can be difficult to know exactly just how to dress for the weather.
