August is National Goat Cheese Month and we can't think of a better thing to celebrate. Goat cheese has really stolen the scene these days, going from weird and exotic to an ingredient that everyone wants on their plates. We've turned it into a fun version of a lollipop, coating it in pecans. Perfect for tossing on crackers or eating off the stick!

pecan goat cheese lollipops

Ingredients

2 ounces goat cheese

2 Tbsp. finely chopped pecans

2 lollipop sticks

Directions

Take the goat cheese and roll it into a ball. Stick the lollipop stick into the ball. Roll the ball in pecans to coat. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Serves 2.

*Note, this recipe is incredibly easy to double or triple. But only prepare as much as you will need.

This gave me the idea to write about fun and/or favorite spots in all five boroughs, namely: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. So, in this blog we’ll cover places I’ve personally enjoyed over the years and spots mentioned in an article that ran in Condé Nast Traveler magazine in April 2020. Here are five slices of the Big Apple:
