Recently a Facebook post by the popular website, Fabulous Over 40, made me reflect on my own style as I get older. The post read:
I think the SignoraPrada is really onto something here. The beauty of getting older is accepting, embracing and celebrating your individuality, something younger people aren't as comfortable doing yet.
Over the past few years a blog called Advanced Style has made headlines for highlighting "the wise and silver-haired set". If you haven't seen it yet you should. It's fantastic! Images of the elegant elders roaming the streets of New York City make me smile and provide inspiration for my own style. Often times the subjects are dressed a bit "wilder"and much of their character is revealed in their unique style.
The takeaway? Take a few more risks with your own personal style and have fun with it!
