A few weeks ago we asked you to tell us about your adventures traveling with your favorite Adea piece(s). The responses were fascinating! Not only have you been all over the globe wearing Adea but you're wearing them in every way possible. Everything from our long sleeve turtleneck to our leggings made the list.
Many of you wrote about travel to Europe and various US or Caribbean destinations. Others told us of trips to more exotic locales, like safari in Namibia, or excursions to Israel and the Middle East, where modest dress is required. While most of your trips are for pleasure, many are also for professional reasons. One woman even works for the Sultanate of Oman!
So, we'd like to thank everyone who submitted their story. The lucky winner of the travel drawing is Jenna P from Silver Springs, Maryland who will receive a complimentary item of her choice. Congratulations!
She wrote: "Last summer, I spent my summer traveling through India and Bali. I packed only a small backpack as I knew I would be moving around a lot. In that small backpack, I only packed 7 pieces of clothing. The bra friendly camisole was my most used piece of clothing. I wore this cami under tunics in India, to yoga Bali, and sleeping under the stars in the Himalayan foothills. It was so easy to wash and dried quickly. The fabric is so silky smooth and fits like a second skin. I will be investing in more travel essentials from Adea before my next trip!" - Jenna P.

I just read an article that sounded – to me at least – like “a canary in a coal mine” or an early warning of danger. This piece, written by Joe Pompeo, appeared in the May 2020 issue of Vanity Fair magazine with the title “The British Tabloid Invasion” and a subtitle that read, “How the Daily Mail is conquering American gossip.”

Apparently the good old U.S. is a nation of “not great” sleepers. Really? And I thought I was the only one! According to a recent study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention it was revealed that one out of three Americans are chronically sleep-deprived. Yikes!

I think we’re all taken by the incredible mystique of the famous French fashion house, Hermès that has been with us for two centuries and is still owned and operated by the same family. From its beginnings in fine equestrian leather goods, they are – in the tumultuous year 2020 – best known for their handbags and many other items.
My image of Hermès has always been rarified products at equally rarified prices so imagine my surprise when I recently received a very stylish publication of theirs in the mail.
