We at Adea are incredibly lucky to have intelligent, educated, fashionable and well-traveled customers with a wide variety of interests. And, its because of this that we are pleased to announce the re-launch of our blog which will now feature new, more interesting and varied content with which to interact and engage with you, our valued customers. The new blog will feature the following daily segments:
Vanessa, a working mom of 2 with a fierce sense of humor, will share her musings on the balancing act that is both her life and that of so many of our loyal customers. Tune in to start your week off right with a chuckle!
We’ll be sharing an image or blog post of a fashion blogger wearing Adea. A great chance for some fashion inspiration!
As always, I will be with you to discuss fashion trends, tips and tricks. Be sure to check it out and make your hump day just a little bit better.
Stop by on Thursdays for Adea news and promotions. But, once a month, we’ll highlight an Adea customer with a personal interview. Perhaps you or someone you know will be featured!
Each week a guest food blogger will share one of their favorite recipes – just in time for the weekend. Check it out, hit the grocery store on your way home from work and get ready for a well-fed weekend.
Barbara, our resident Polyvore expert, will continue to share her beautiful and inspiring sets. Be sure to make them part of your Saturday routine.
Sunday is the day of rest, even for our blog. We’ll take a quick break to gear up for the upcoming week. And, we hope that you’ll be relaxing as well.
Keep an eye out for these new features popping up over the next few weeks and let us know what you think in the comments section.
Comments will be approved before showing up.
Last week we introduced you to the newly opened Hudson Yards and provided lots of basic, down-to-earth information. CLICK HERE for a fantastic video of the grand opening ceremony (sound on/full screen). This week we’re going to focus on the shops and restaurants you will find as well as “The Vessel” (New York’s answer to the Eiffel Tower) and “The Shed” (a performance and exhibition space that expands and contracts).
No matter where you are in the world today, it seems one cannot escape politics. As I do not want this post to be an oxymoron, my goal is to keep it on topic - politics in fashion?. It was not that long ago, I cancelled one of my previously beloved fashion magazines (and as you read this, it wasn't American Vogue). Without thinking twice, I cited the reason being that I was a subscriber to this magazine because it used to be about fashion, now it was about fashion and politics.
On April 15, 2019 a fire broke out beneath the roof of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Since I had seen this magnificent structure in my early twenties I found this horrific news very upsetting. I was grateful that we had scheduled an outing to the recently opened Hudson Yards on the West Side of Manhattan. It was a welcome distraction because this creation of a “brand new neighborhood” was overwhelming. I have 10 pages of typed research notes that I plan to break down into bite-sized points to give you a quick overview of this astounding venture.
We use Italian lingerie sizing for our bodywear and items tend to run small.
Because of the body-hugging nature of the fabric and our body conscious fit most women prefer to wear our layering tops as under-layers. If you are inclined to wear them on their own we suggest you size up. Please email us or give us a call if you have questions about your sizing. We're happy to help you get it right.
Relaxed fit. Wear alone or over any of our layering tees or camisoles.
