Tropical fruit chia smoothie

As summer winds down, the need to savor every last drop of warmth and sunlight becomes inevitable. And while freezing and canning is popular today, nothing really compares to a fresh bit of pineapple or a really ripe peach. In order to capture the most of summer, we've turned to smoothies. This tropical chia fruit smoothie is ideal for using up fruity goodness.

  • ¾ cup coconut milk (next to the almond milk)
  • 1 cup frozen mango pieces
  • 1 cup pineapple pieces
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds, soaked in water for ten minutes

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until smooth. Serve.
